Things to consider when getting new Acting Headshots done
When you get a call to see an Agent, Manager, Casting Agent, Producer or Director, they want to see the same person whose headshot they looked at.

You should look pretty much as you do in your Headshot.

There is nothing that drives people in casting more crazy to having the Actor look totally different from their Headshot.

being prepared makes the shoot go a lot smoother, so spend some time to create the character you like to portray in the Headshot, think of it as getting prepaird for an audition so that you're fully in character.

For each look bring about 4-5 wardrobe choices, make sure the clothes are winkle and stain free and are on hangers. Think of layers, it will give more debt. Pick solid colors like blue,green, black, grey avoid white, beige, brown that would be too close to your skin tone, also avoid patterns, stripes, logos and anything that super busy. Think clean lines nothing that will take attention away from your face which is what people are suppose to focus on in your Headshot.
If you have a peticular look in mind please make sure you discuss it with me ahead of the shoot.
Make sure you're not squeazing the shoot in between other appointments, if you feel stressed it will show on your face. If you know some breathing and relaxation technics from your Acting Coach take the time in the morning to run through them.

Hair /Make-up suggestions
Women: if you're doing your own make -up, stay natural, make sure you have your eye brows shaped before hand, it will make a huge difference.
Have your hair blown out to create more volume and shine.
Men: make sure you shave early in the morning not just before the shoot, that willl give your skin time to relax and you won't have any redness,
I would suggest to get your own face powder and under eye conceiler also suggested for audition, Cinema Secrets or Mac will advise you when you
visit one of their locations.
If you're wearing a short hair cut make sure all exess hair on sideburn and neck is cleaned up.
